The 3511ES Stereo Kit from DPA features two compact 4011ES cardioid microphones with active side cables, which have been factory-matched within ¡À1 dB for frequency response and sensitivity in the microphone’s entire frequency bandwidth. The kit can be used to capture audio for close-up applications such as acoustic guitars, grand pianos, overheads, percussion, wind instruments, vocals, spot-miking symphonies, and more.The 4011ES cardioid microphone can handle very high sound levels. The flat on-axis frequency response delivers a faithful reproduction of the original sound, and the off-axis response is also smooth.
