Seriously, patch your directs into a couple of audiofire echos for close to the same price, more channels, and better quality). If you need a really good analog mixer that will provide enough inputs for sound reinforcement and mixing (12 mics will cover a pretty big room, and 2 sterio inputs are enough for a couple computers/vtc suites), without a bunch of cheap or poorly implemented digital stuff, I’d recommend the GB2R 12.2. It’s a 16 channel by the way mackie rates mixers (12 Mono/2 sterio), with 2 buses (recording/sound reinforcement, sometimes I set up for DJ’s and use buses for tops/subs).Have been hauling it around for a couple years. Still loving it and feeling that I got a good deal. The Onyx 1640i is nice, but to compete they need to add direct outs, some nicer faders, and sell one without the firewire interface for under a thousand.See any errors on this page?
