Since the LS-208 is capable of capturing SPLs up to 135 dB cleanly and without clipping, you can confidently put it in front of a guitar cab or up-close on a snare.To keep undesired noise to a minimum, the 1.3″ condenser capsule is internally shockmounted, and the external shockmount further isolates the mic from stand-borne vibrations and rumble.
