The structure of the digital mixing console is not the same, and the parameter adjustment is in a special area. It is different from the analog station, but the tuning idea is the same, the picture refers to the title map.
The GAIN gain control knob (input level adjustment), in the mixer circuit, adjusts and sets the input signal to have a wide undistorted dynamic range and the best signal-to-noise ratio. GAIN provides a 40dB continuously adjustable gain range. When it is set to -40dB, the signal level is the lowest, that is, the input signal is attenuated by 40dB; when it is set to 0dB, the attenuation is 0, and the input signal is the strongest. When adjusting the GAIN knob, first turn the GAIN knob clockwise to the position where the peak indicator light just keeps on, then slowly turn it counterclockwise back to the position where the indicator light is off, and then go back to increase about 6dB, so that the indicator light is at the position where the indicator light is off. On the critical level line, which is lit when the signal peaks appear, so that you can be sure that the input signal has been adjusted to the proper level. In fixed use occasions, after the GAIN knob is adjusted once, generally do not turn it. Midrange: 500 Hz ~ 2 KHz Clear and bright sound when appropriate. The sound is hazy when not enough, and produces a phone-like sound when too boosted.
Treble: 2 KHz ~ 8 KHz is the frequency that affects the layering of the sound. When it is insufficient, the penetrating power of the sound decreases, and when it is too strong, it will mask the recognition of language syllables, making the sibilance aggravated and the timbre hairy.
MON MONITOR: The supervisor listens to the volume knob, and the monitor control potentiometer on the channel takes out each signal and sends it directly through the monitor bus to the monitor amplifier output for the engineer to monitor, so as to control the level of each input signal entering the mixing circuit Proportion. The monitor controls are set after the GAIN and EQ controls. Any changes to the EQ controls will cause acoustic feedback, but the controls of the pan and channel level faders have no effect on monitoring.
EFF EFFECT: Effect knob, adjust this knob to determine the output level of this channel to the effector. This adjustment knob is provided on each channel of the mixer. When using, you can use the built-in reverb of the mixer, or you can use an external effect/reverb. When an external effect/reverb is connected, the built-in reverb is disconnected from the mixer circuit, and only the signal from the external effect/reverb is output to each input channel. When playing or recording a program, adjust the effect/reverb knob of each channel to determine whether the signal of each channel is added and how much effect/reverb volume needs to be added, and then the excitation signals sent from all channels are concentrated into one effect /Reverb bus, and then the bus will send these signals to the master effect/reverb amplifier for mixing amplification and master output.
PAN PANPOT: Panning knob, panning adjustment knob, it is used to adjust the stereo position of the channel signal between the left and right channels. By adjusting this potentiometer, the stereo image of the channel can be shifted left and right. If the knob is turned to the left, the position of the sound will gradually move to the left, otherwise it will move to the right. When the knob is placed in the center, the sound image will be in the center position.
